In October and November, the members of our project conducted a workshop entitled “AGH Solar Boat Team Workshops solar energy conversion and practical application of electronic systems”. During the 3 hour workshop secondary school students had the opportunity to learn the secrets of electronics, photovoltaics and Baśka’s power supply. What’s more, during the workshop the students assembled electronic circuits and independently programmed microcontrollers. The aim of the workshop was to provide students with knowledge in the field of electronics, as well as to make them interested in this topic and encourage them to deepen their knowledge on their own. We are proud that we managed to achieve our goals. Engagement of students during the workshops was very high, and many participants expressed a desire to receive materials to study independently after the end of the workshop.
The workshops were carried out with financial support from the Małopolska Region as part of the “Naukowe Inspiracje – Ciekawe i Kreatywne” contest.
